Zav arrived on campus in the Fall of 1979, a legacy behind his older brother, Chris.  As a distance runner, Zav was tight with Reid, Ed & Mike, and as a member of the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity, he was tight with Mike, Neil and eventually Ed. Because the Dimeslots were the "unofficial" BAND of Pi Lam, he was a regular participant in Dimeslots campus fun.  

 

It wasn't until later that Zav joined the 'Slots for shows starting in 2001 and beyond.

 

In his younger years, Zav sang gigs with his sister for food stamps sometimes resulting in world peace!
